The Committee of the Irish Section of the CIBD have the pleasure in announcing the 2025 Annual Dinner will be held in Hotel Kilkenny, College Road, Kilkenny on Friday, 21st of February 2025. Dress code is smart casual.
A drinks reception will commence at 19:00 and the dinner will start at 20:00. Prior to the dinner, we invite you to join us at:
- A tour of Royal Oak Distillery (14:30)
- The Irish Section AGM at Sullivan’s Tap room (16:45)

- 13:45 – Bus Depart Hotel Kilkenny to Royal Oak Distillery
- 14:30 – Safety Brief & Royal Oak Distillery Tour (Safety footwear & High Vis Required)
- 16:00 – Bus Depart Royal Oak Distillery to Sullivans Taproom & Hotel Kilkenny.
- 16:45 – AGM at Sullivans Taproom
- 19:00 – CIBD Irish Section Annual Dinner at Hotel Kilkenny
- 19:00 – Pre Dinner-Drinks
- 20:00 – Dinner
- 21:15 – Speeches
- 21:40 – Exam results
- 22:20 – Music
- 00:30 – Finish
As always, members are welcome to bring guests to the Annual Dinner. And we are pleased to announce that a charity raffle will take place on the night in aid of a local charity.
The section is very keen for an event which is inclusive of all CIBD members of the Irish section as well as other sections. Transport
A bus is being organised to bring members to Royal Oak Distillery from Hotel Kilkenny, and then from Royal Oak Distillery to the AGM at Sullivans Taproom or Hotel Kilkenny if members do not wish to attend the AGM.
If members would like to attend the Distillery tour and require the bus please inform us the CIBD Irish Section.
