Join the CIBD Great Northern Section for a fun weekend of networking, socialising, and enjoying the great outdoors. Open to members, guests, partners, family, and friends, this event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with others in the industry while exploring scenic walking routes and visiting a brewery.

Come along for one or both days - make a weekend of it with a Saturday evening Brewery visit! We recommend suitable outdoor footwear and clothing for conditions on the day of the walk.

Saturday 21st June Walk - Meet 09.45 for a prompt 10.00 start at Mills Hill train station, Middleton Road, Manchester M24 2FB. There is a free car park opposite station.

This scenic 8-mile route follows the canal, passing through Hopwood Woods and Tandle Hill Country Park before returning to the starting point. Please bring a packed lunch and wear appropriate outdoor footwear.

Saturday 21st June Brewery tour and buffet - Meet 6pm at J.W.Lees Brewery, 369 Grimshaw Lane Middleton, Manchester M24 2AX.

Enjoy an exclusive brewery tour followed by a buffet, free of charge. As a token of appreciation, the brewery welcomes small voluntary contributions to its annual charity.

The brewery car park will be closed - please use on-street parking on Grimshaw Lane. For catering purposes, please confirm attendance and any dietary requirements by 6th June.
