Do you have an interest in whisky research or work in the whisky industry and want to find out more about the latest whisky research and the applications of robotics in the drinks sector?
The event will begin at the SWRI with an introduction to its research initiatives, followed by a guided tour. After lunch, attendees will walk to the National Robotarium for a tour and discussion of the challenges in the drinks sector and how robotics can help with these challenges. This is a fantastic opportunity to find out more about the advancements of robotics while networking with industry professionals and researchers.
Parking is available at SWRI, with good public transport links nearby. The National Robotarium is just a short 5-minute walk from SWRI.
Speakers
- Frances Jack FCIBD
Frances is the Head of Research Startegy at SWRI. Having gained a PhD in Bioscience and Biotechnology, she is responsible for managing various research projects at the SWRI.
- Naomi Battison
Naomi is the Business Development Executive at the National Robotarium. Building on her experience in the tourism and financial sectors, she is responsible for helping advance the National Robotarium and adding a different outlook to how they can grow as a business.
